Senior Payroll Officer | Contract to Dec 2025 | West Perth | Flexible Days
Contract Details:
- $45-50 per hour + super (depending on experience)
- Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days WFH (once trained)
- Part-time option: 3-4 days per week if preferred
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: Until end of December 2025 (possible extension but not guaranteed)
On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join their team in West Perth. They offer a supportive environment with flexibility, including hybrid work and the option for part-time hours.
The Role
This position covers end-to-end payroll duties within an outsourced payroll environment, requiring strong coordination with the external provider and raising tickets for any changes or issues. You'll ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, and a high level of support to internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and review end-to-end payroll
- Liaise with outsourced payroll provider and raise tickets for adjustments
- Maintain payroll data and employee records
- Prepare payroll reports and reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with relevant awards, legislation, and policies
- Provide payroll support to employees and management
- 2-3 years' payroll experience
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables & VLOOKUPs - non-negotiable)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working with outsourced payroll providers
- Available to start ASAP
