An exciting opportunity exists for a Mental Health Nurse. Employment Type: Permanent Part Time

Remuneration: $36.39 - $51.09 per hour
Hours Per Week : 24

The Older Persons Community Mental Health Service provides specialist mental health assessment, diagnosis, care coordination, and treatment for people aged 65 and over, as well as for younger adults with complex age-related needs.

We are a dynamic, multidisciplinary team committed to delivering recovery-oriented, trauma-informed care. We look forward to welcoming the successful applicant and providing ongoing support and mentoring within a community-based setting.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APRHA) registration as a Registered Nurse.
  2. Committed to providing high-quality, person-centered care that is recovery-focused and trauma-informed.
  3. Demonstrated skills in safe and effective triage, assessment, risk assessment and care planning.

This is a NSW Health Category A position which requires immunisation and screening for certain diseases. You will be required to complete the OASV Undertaking/ Declaration Form during the recruitment process.
