Health Promotion Opportunity

Our team is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our Health Promotion unit.

Job Summary
  • This role involves developing and delivering health promotion initiatives to maintain or improve the health, safety and wellbeing of children and young people in NSW and nationally.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for working with a range of stakeholders, including families, health professionals, government and non-government organisations and the wider community.

We are looking for someone who has experience working with and/or developing health promotion and harm prevention initiatives for priority populations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the development, delivery and evaluation of health and safety promotion and injury prevention initiatives.

Work with multiple stakeholders to achieve program goals and objectives.

Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and communication.

Monitor and evaluate program outcomes to inform future programming decisions.

Requirements

A Bachelor degree in a relevant field such as public health, health science or a related field.

Experience working in health promotion, preferably in a government or not-for-profit setting.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
