Safety Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Manager to join our team at 2XM Recruit. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for our employees and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective safety policies and procedures to minimize risks and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address safety issues, and lead daily pre-start meetings with company personnel and subcontractors.
- Collaborate with field experts to conduct risk assessments and create Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) documents.
- Consult with other duty holders, including Principal Contractors, customers, and managers, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Manage injury and compliance investigations, and develop and implement health and safety plans to mitigate risks.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on WHS strategies and best practices.
- Certificate III in Health & Safety or higher qualifications.
- Proven experience in WHS, preferably in the construction industry or automation businesses.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Strong documentation skills, with the ability to create and maintain accurate records and reports.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a solutions-focused mindset.
- Experience in coordinating the integration of new systems and processes on site.
- Ability to manage project-related activities and ensure timely completion.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate successful project delivery.
