Safety Manager

CGC Recruitment is seeking an experienced Safety Officer to contribute to a significant health project in regional New South Wales.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement and maintain safety management systems and procedures on-site.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
- Provide safety training and support to all site personnel.
- Collaborate with project management to ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, preparing detailed reports and recommendations.
- Promote a strong safety culture throughout the project team.
- Proven experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry, preferably in health-related projects.
- Relevant qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., Cert IV in OH&S).
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
