We are seeking an experienced Ecological Specialist to join our Sydney team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct field survey programs, traveling to remote areas as required.
  • Analyze botanical data, preparing clear, concise technical reports that integrate well into multidisciplinary assessments and project teams.
  • Design and implement flora surveys and monitoring programs, utilizing strong data analysis, report writing and computer skills.
Requirements:
  • A tertiary qualification in Botany, Ecology or related field is essential for this role.
  • At least 5 years' experience in ecological roles within the environmental consulting sector or equivalent is required.
  • The ideal candidate will be able to identify flora in NSW by sight and using keys, with BAM accreditation being a significant advantage.
  • A proven track record of implementing effective flora surveys and monitoring programs is also desirable.
