Blackroc is seeking a seasoned Project Management Office (PMO) Lead to join our dynamic and rapidly growing e-commerce brand. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the successful delivery of complex, high-profile projects while collaborating closely with our General Manager to implement a strategy that positions the PMO as a central business function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the PMO strategy and lead the design and implementation of a common project management methodology, standards, and tools to drive and facilitate the successful delivery of projects.
  • Lead the execution of a PMO governance, reporting, and review framework to provide a holistic view of all organizational project activity.
  • Manage interdependencies and coordination across projects to ensure that information relating to project deliverables, risks, and issues are effectively communicated between stakeholders and that key performance indicators are monitored and evaluated.
  • Build an agile framework for your team and encourage a collaborative approach to solving problems and achieving objectives.
  • Be an expert at managing change within a business through all levels and across all teams.
  • Maintain project management standards using the approved PMO agile framework. Coordinate internal resources, partners, and sub-contractors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Engage with our sales team to assist with project technical and resource viability by vetting designs and customer quotes. Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and cost.
  • Communicate exceptionally with all stakeholders (internal and external).

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in professional PMO services within a software product company or creative digital agency.
  • Experience providing PMO services including delivery assurance, compliance and quality, planning and estimating, information management and support, monitoring, reviewing and reporting, risk and issue management, change management, engagement, onboarding & resource management.
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to build good relationships.
  • Previous experience setting up a PMO from scratch or making substantial changes to an existing PMO.
  • Demonstrated experience within Change Management.
  • Delivery-focused project management executive who is not afraid to be hands-on.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to influence at board and C level.
  • Extensive experience with Agile-Scrum and Hybrid projects.
