Job Overview:

A skilled Debt Recovery Specialist is required to manage a large debtors ledger of 2000+ customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in credit control and debt collection, with excellent communication and analytical skills.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with customers on a daily basis to manage their accounts
  • Manage a large debtors ledger
  • Review collection activities and outstanding account status with the manager
  • Handle arrangements and activities of collection agents for delinquent accounts
  • Prepare documents for bad debt write-offs and lodge claims/proof of debts against liquidators/receivers

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in credit control and debt collection, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. They will also be self-motivated, able to work in a team and autonomously, and possess intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
