Job Title: Collector

We are seeking an experienced collector to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for debt collection and payment reconciliation, ensuring compliance with all policy, legislation, regulatory standards and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and action monthly debtor's aging report in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Manage a ledger of approximately 1000+ clients.
  • Maintain debt collection and escalation process, including negotiating payment terms.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Liaise directly and work collaboratively with internal stakeholders regarding general issues, client disputes, and escalated matters.
  • Maintain a status register of collection statuses for old debts.
  • Liaise with the business and document collection activities, manage accounts with the debt collector, and propose write-offs.
  • Process phone credit card payments via bank portal.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years proven experience in a similar revenue collections position.
  • Experience within aged care community services is highly desirable.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relations with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience using relevant software systems and online portals.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX, Procura, and CRM is advantageous.
  • Ability to provide evidence of Covid-19 Immunisation.
