Job Title: Team Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our community mental health team on a full-time basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the operational management of the Community Mental Health Programs, including leading, supporting, and managing the daily operations of the local staff/team.

About the Role:

  • Lead, support, and manage the daily operations of the local staff/team
  • Report to the General Manager Community Mental Health Service
  • Work collaboratively and in partnership with the Clinical Lead positions

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Leading, developing and implementing strategies for effective program management
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to colleagues
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve service goals

Requirements:

To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will need to possess the following:

  • Registered Nurse or Division 1 Registered Nurse with post-basic qualification in mental health nursing holding a current Registration Certificate with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Approved degree in social work or other qualification approved for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers
  • Strong leadership and management skills
