Job Overview

The Assistant Asset Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the effective operation and maintenance of assets within our portfolios.

This position will contribute to the overall success of our organisation by efficiently and effectively managing the asset management system on behalf of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership Role: Provide leadership in the management of Planned Preventative Maintenance programs and assets.
  • Financial Controls: Maintaining financial controls and reporting for PPM programs.
  • Asset Standards: Developing and documenting asset standards and processes.
  • Operational Improvement: Providing recommendations for the improvement of operational performance and project manage the implementation of recommendations with stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Asset Manager, Operations team and other stakeholders in onboarding new partners and align asset management strategies with organisational goals.
Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering or similar (essential) or Degree in Business/Finance or similar.
  • A Track record in a similar role, ideally in demanding and complex environments.
  • Must have advanced Excel skills.
  • Power BI / Power Pivot / Power Query reporting experience – highly regarded.
  • Strong customer relation skills with total commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Self-starting, able to work with a minimum of supervision.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Full Australian work rights.
