Job Title: Construction Project Coordinator

Job Overview:

  • Develop and execute construction projects, focusing on effective program management.
  • Regularly provide cost forecasts and manage cost controls to ensure successful project execution.
  • Conduct regular progress reporting and weekly meetings to maintain project momentum.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to ensure project alignment with established programs.
  • Process and finalize subcontractor claims and variations in a timely manner.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) regulations.
  • Coordinate direct labor and subcontractors effectively.
  • Offer expert advice on technical and engineering matters as needed.
  • Participate in tendering and estimation processes.
  • Develop and modify integrated team plans (ITPs) and site work method statements (SWMS).
  • Initiate requests for information (RFIs) and track responses.
  • Review tender packages and draft subcontract agreements.

About You:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in a similar role or equivalent, with expertise in managing facade replacement and heritage projects.
  • Strong appreciation and understanding of heritage building conservation principles.
  • Proven leadership skills and understanding of leadership responsibilities.
  • High level of safety awareness and commitment to ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Excellent commercial acumen and ability to make informed business decisions.
  • Strong programming and planning skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective project schedules.
  • Contract awareness and experience with cost tracking and management.
  • Exceptional stakeholder relationship-building skills, with the ability to positively influence, develop, and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated individual who can manage their workload independently while also working effectively within a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box when faced with complex challenges.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
