Key Responsibilities

This role involves leading from the floor, building, managing, and developing team members to create an environment and team culture where people feel a deep sense of belonging and have opportunities to grow.

The Assistant Manager, Guest Experience creates an environment where people feel a sense of belonging and are given opportunities to develop their skills. They ensure that their team delivers outstanding guest experiences in line with company values and directives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create and foster a respectful and inclusive team environment by welcoming and celebrating differences.
  • Lead from the floor to assess and fulfill business, team, and guest needs.
  • Engage directly with team members to understand how their work supports store success.
  • Implement the Store Manager's People vision for the store and cascade it to team members.
  • Manage the hiring process, including recruitment, selection, and onboarding.
  • Provide training and coaching to team members, closing gaps through development areas and training solutions.
  • Lead performance management activities, including direct feedback, continuous check-ins, and rewards.
  • Monitor and compare performance metrics against goals to assess and close gaps.
