About the Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified tradesperson to join our team as a Workshop Fitter at our Reman Facility in Muswellbrook.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Overhaul minor and major hydraulic and mechanical components from our construction and mining equipment range.
  • Ensure all work is performed in a safe manner adhering to WHS principles.
  • Undertake maintenance tasks, diagnose issues and implement repairs.
  • Conduct thorough failure analysis and identify modes of failure.
  • Complete accurate documentation and reporting in a timely fashion.
  • Evaluate component condition, prepare detailed inspection reports and scopes of work including parts listing.
  • Test remanufactured components, conduct quality checks and audits.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and review relevant safe work procedures.
  • Provide professional customer service and support.
Requirements:
  • A strong commitment to workplace health and safety with a good understanding of WHS principles.
  • A trade qualification relevant to the role.
  • Experience in the overhaul, repair and remanufacture of mechanical and hydraulic components would be beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to deliver high-quality results in a timely manner.
  • A strong team focus and willingness to contribute to a positive work environment.
