
Financial Support Specialist

This role provides financial support and administrative services to an organisation on a part-time basis (24 hours per week).
The key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining accurate financial records for accounts payable.
- Bank reconciliations and account balancing.
- Preparing BAS, PAYG, and superannuation reports.
- Supporting month-end and year-end close processes.
- Liaising with external accountants and auditors as required.
- General administrative tasks.
The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in accounts payable and receivable functions, with a good understanding of accounting procedures.
- A high level of attention to detail, with proven quality and accuracy of work.
- Experience using Xero software.
- Strong reconciliation skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks.
- An intermediate level of Word and Excel.
