**Job Overview:**

As a Rail Health and Safety Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the well-being of staff on site and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Model health and safety as a core value.
  • Provide quality and timely safety advice to front line managers.
  • Ensure compliance with client WHS and Rail Safeworking requirements.
  • Manage RIW requirements of staff on site.
  • Distribute safety alerts and circulars for industry related incidents.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings to identify WHS issues.
  • Assist the Health and Safety Manager with safety advice and support.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Cert IV in Work Health and Safety.
  • Safely Access the Rail Corridor (Desirable).
  • Advanced First Aid.
  • Internal Auditor Qualification (Desirable).
  • PO1 or PO2 (Desirable).
  • Accredited Drug and Alcohol Tester (Desirable).
