Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Proposal Manager to lead our Laboratory and Clinical Research Organisation in developing winning budgets and proposals.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of commercial industry or clinical research site experience, with expertise in proposal and budget analytics, developing the budget and proposal process, and contracts.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality proposals that meet customer needs, while also improving GLC's win rate and speed up the proposals process.

Responsibilities

  • Develop effective proposals that showcase our capabilities and expertise
  • Collaborate with Business Development Managers, cross-functional team heads, and finance to ensure seamless execution of proposals
  • Lead the development of budget models and forecasts to support proposal submissions
  • Provide subject matter expertise on clinical research and laboratory operations to inform proposal development
  • Maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure ongoing business opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Sciences, Life Sciences, or similar related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in related life sciences industries with significant experience in proposal and budget analytics, developing the budget and proposal process, and contracts or equivalent combination of relevant training and industry experience
  • Proven successful track record of commercial industry or clinical research site experience
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Excellent Excel skills and ability to develop high standard budget models
