Finance professionals with a strategic mindset are sought after to manage the month-end close process, prepare financial reports, and provide key performance indicators for project teams.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the preparation of financial statements including month-end and year-end closes.
- Ensure timely and accurate general ledger reconciliations, accruals, and journals.
- Monitor working capital, margins, and revenue recognition on active construction projects.
- Liaise with external auditors for audit preparation and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes, providing valuable insights to support business decision-making.
- Develop and refine internal finance systems and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prepare and deliver financial reports to stakeholders, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
- Hold tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance.
- Be CPA or CA qualified.
- Possess at least 5 years of experience in financial accounting roles, preferably within the construction or project environments.
- Demonstrate expertise in working capital management, cost control, and project-based reporting.
- Exhibit advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems.
- Display excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused attitude.
- Showcase exposure to diverse projects and cross-functional stakeholders.
