What you'll do
  1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and assist with the timely and accurate preparation of financial reports, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  2. Compliance & Taxation: Support compliance with regulatory and tax reporting requirements (e.g., BAS, FBT, payroll tax), assisting with calculations and lodgements.
  3. General Ledger & Reconciliations: Maintain the integrity of the general ledger, perform balance sheet reconciliations, and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
  4. Budgeting Support: Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with relevant teams to gather information and input into financial plans.
  5. Process Improvement: Identify and contribute to improvements in accounting processes and systems.
What You'll Bring
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a financial accounting role.
  • Progress towards or completion of CA or CPA qualification is highly regarded.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles (e.g., IFRS or AASB) and experience with financial systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to interpret financial information.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with internal stakeholders.
