Are you a skilled Civil Engineer looking to apply your technical expertise and project management skills to a challenging role?

About the Role

This position involves investigating asset condition and performance, recommending and scoping remedial works. You will also assist with planning and implementing civil infrastructure maintenance programs, manage external contractors and suppliers, and provide technical engineering support across teams.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Investigate asset condition and performance; recommend and scope remedial works
  • Assist with planning and implementation of civil infrastructure maintenance programs
  • Manage external contractors and suppliers in line with contract specifications and Council standards
  • Provide technical engineering support across teams for planning, capital works and emergency response
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Experience in investigation, design, and delivery of civil infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of road, drainage, coastal and public infrastructure assets
  • Familiarity with local government standards, regulations, and contract management

The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, communicate complex technical information to stakeholders, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions to complex infrastructure challenges.
