Infrastructure Project Manager Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of infrastructure projects for critical facilities across Australia. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.

  • The role involves coordinating and managing engineering aspects of infrastructure projects from design through to delivery, ensuring that all technical specifications are met and that the project is delivered in accordance with relevant Australian Standards and safety regulations.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure that design intent is maintained throughout construction, and that all stakeholders are informed and consulted throughout the project lifecycle.
  • A key aspect of the role will be to review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and plans, and to identify and mitigate project risks as they arise.
  • Additionally, the successful candidate will assist in procurement, contractor management, and project documentation, and will ensure that all project milestones, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • In order to succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of construction methodologies and project lifecycle, and excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • You will also need to be able to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team, and have a working knowledge of relevant software and design tools (AutoCAD).
  • Finally, you will need to hold a degree-qualified in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, and have 3+ years of experience in engineering design or project delivery, ideally within infrastructure or critical facilities.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project lifecycle.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Working knowledge of relevant software and design tools (AutoCAD).
  • Degree-qualified in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in engineering design or project delivery, ideally within infrastructure or critical facilities.
