About Abergeldie
Abergeldie is an Australian owned contractor with over 30 years' industry experience in Australia and New Zealand. We design and deliver projects in the Water, Bridges, Transport, Underground, Energy and Remediation industry sectors. Projects include dams, bridges, tunnels, water and wastewater treatment process facilities, rail infrastructure, mining infrastructure, electrical substations, marine works and pipeline rehabilitation: the complex infrastructure needed to build better communities.

About the Opportunity
We're looking for a seasoned Project Manager ready to take on a flagship infrastructure upgrade in Sydney's west -the Hill Road Upgrade in Lidcombe. This TfNSW initiative will improve traffic flow, reduce congestion, and enhance safety for road users, particularly around the busy M4 and Parramatta Road corridors. The works include road widening, intersection upgrades, shared user paths and utility relocations -delivered in a live traffic environment.

You'll oversee the full project lifecycle -from planning and procurement through to completion and handover -leading a technically strong, collaborative team. This is your chance to step into a leadership role on a strategically significant project that will make a real impact for the community.

What You'll Bring to the Team
We're looking for someone who brings:

- A degree in Civil Engineering and 15+ years in the construction industry, with significant experience in roads and bridgeworks
- 8+ years leading major infrastructure projects as a Project Manager
- Proven delivery of TfNSW projects and an in-depth understanding of their standards and processes
- Strong commercial acumen—particularly in programming, subcontractor management, and stakeholder engagement
- A collaborative leadership style that builds culture, drives accountability, and delivers results
