Job Overview

Lead a high-performance engineering team to deliver infrastructure projects that benefit the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and mentor engineers in delivering infrastructure projects on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant asset management policies, strategies, and plans for multiple asset classes.
  • Develop and implement Asset Management Systems and Maintenance Management Systems.
  • Provide authoritative technical advice to stakeholders and the community on complex civil infrastructure designs.
  • Manage project delivery including procurement, contract administration, and budget control.
  • Engage with residents, government agencies, contractors, and elected officials through high-level consultation and liaison.
  • Drive innovation and sustainability in infrastructure planning and delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status with Engineers Australia.
  • Demonstrated experience in civil design, asset management, and delivery of civil works programs.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing professional engineering teams.
  • Extensive project management experience with proven budgetary and contractual oversight.
  • High-level communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Current Class C Driver's Licence.
