Clinical Support Nurse Neonatal Service
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Support Nurse to join our Neonatal Service team at Mercy Hospital for Women. In this role, you will provide direct clinical support to the neonatal service and mentor students, graduates, and less experienced nurses to develop high-quality clinical skills.
You will work closely with Nursing and Midwifery Education leadership and Clinical Educators to implement and evaluate clinical learning activities across the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct clinical support for the neonatal service at Mercy Hospital for Women.
- Mentor students, graduates, and less experienced nurses to develop high-quality clinical skills.
- Support the implementation and evaluation of clinical learning activities across the organisation in collaboration with Nursing and Midwifery Education leadership and Clinical Educators.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills with problem solving ability.
- A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to patient care and management.
- Ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- Post graduate qualifications in Neonatal Nursing.
