The Mercy Health Australia Neonatal and Postnatal Support Nurse program offers a unique opportunity for Registered Nurses to make a significant impact in the lives of mothers and newborns.
About the RoleThis supernumerary position complements established midwifery care, providing essential support alongside midwives to care for neonates requiring additional clinical attention on the maternity ward.
What You'll Bring- You're resilient, compassionate, and committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care.
- A minimum of one year's experience as a Registered Nurse is required.
- Prior experience in neonatal or paediatric care, along with relevant postgraduate qualifications, would be highly advantageous.
- A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check are mandatory.
- Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders is also necessary.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work collaboratively within a team environment, and demonstrate a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
