Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to fill the role of Neonatal and Postnatal Support Nurse in our maternity ward.

This dedicated position is designed to complement and support established midwifery care, providing essential support alongside midwives to care for neonates requiring additional clinical care on the maternity ward.

The successful candidate will have experience in neonatal care or be considering a future career in midwifery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional patient-centred care to neonates and their families
  • Work collaboratively with midwives to deliver high-quality care
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams

Requirements
  • Minimum one year's experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Experience in a maternity, maternal and child health, women's health, neonatal, paediatrics, or postoperative environment

  • A compassionate, flexible, and positive approach to effective patient care and management
  • The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment
