Claims Service Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Service Consultant - Liability to join our National Liability Claims Unit at Allianz Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a complex portfolio of claims arising from Public and Products Liability products in a timely and cost-effective manner with a focus on personal injury.
Key Responsibilities- Claims Management: Manage a portfolio of complex claims, ensuring timely and cost-effective resolution with a focus on personal injury.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a high standard of service is maintained.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including panel solicitors, loss adjusters, and service providers, to report on claim developments, trends, and potential large losses.
- Negotiation: Negotiate with stakeholders to reach the best possible outcome for all parties involved.
- Experience: Previous experience within liability and/or experience in injury-related insurance is essential.
- Skills: Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to balance understanding, empathy, and compassion with the best commercial outcome for Allianz.
- Education: Relevant qualifications in a related field are highly desirable.
