Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to spearhead our care team, providing exceptional support to clients in need. As a Care Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring that staff have a solid understanding of individual client needs and preferences, delivering tailored services that meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of care professionals, providing direct support to clients and promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Mentor and develop staff to ensure they possess the skills and knowledge required to deliver exceptional client care.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including clinical managers and regional area managers, to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Manage recruitment and retention of care workers, ensuring all necessary validations, education, and development plans are in place.

Requirements:

  • A Certificate IV in Aged Care or equivalent qualification is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 2 years relevant industry experience, with a strong track record of leadership and performance coaching.
  • Extensive knowledge of Home Care Packages Program, CHSP services, Aged Care Quality Standards, and Commonwealth Home Support Programme.
  • Experience in managing teams in a multi-site environment, with a focus on quality, safety, and compliance.
  • A current driver's license and safe driving record, with a willingness to travel between locations.
  • Strong organizational, administrative, and computer skills, with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Empathy, patience, and excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
