About This Role

We are seeking a seasoned construction professional to lead our tendering and project management efforts.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in heritage, public, and commercial construction projects, including new builds, restorations, and conservation works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend client briefings and gather project requirements.
  • Develop detailed project estimates and documentation for tenders and quotations.
  • Analyze project resources, timelines, and budgets for accurate bidding.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, tradespeople, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Submit high-quality quotations and tenders by set deadlines.
  • Ensure all quotation documents meet industry standards.
  • Create compelling tender submissions that showcase value.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure quality outcomes.
  • Present project performance updates to senior management and clients.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in commercial/public sector estimating and tendering.
  • Strong technical knowledge of the construction industry.
  • Ability to interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Proficiency in estimating and construction management software.
  • Degree or tertiary qualification in Building/Construction Management (desirable) or equivalent industry experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail and understanding of architectural design principles.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills.
  • Current driver's license and legal right to work in Australia.
