About the Role

This exciting opportunity allows you to advise on a range of power and renewable energy matters, working on commercial agreements, regulatory issues, M&A, and project work across the energy and climate change sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advising on commercial, regulatory, and project agreements in the energy and renewables sector
  • Providing legal counsel on M&A and complex transactions related to power and clean energy
  • Supporting clients on multi-jurisdictional and cross-border projects
  • Assisting with regulatory compliance and navigating energy sector reforms
  • Offering strategic guidance on energy transition projects, including hydrogen, CCUS, and gas sectors
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will have 2-5PQE in a leading energy or infrastructure practice. You should demonstrate:

  • Strong legal drafting and negotiation skills
  • Experience advising on complex energy transactions, including regulatory and project agreements
  • A deep understanding of the power and renewables sectors, with knowledge of hydrogen, CCUS, and nuclear sectors being advantageous
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • A client-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality legal advice
Compensation

£120,000 - £180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
