The Role

As a Senior Associate in our Band 1 Corporate Energy and Infrastructure team, you will work closely with market-leading partners and a broader team of specialists. You will have the opportunity to work on 'first-in-market' projects and with clients who are at the forefront of the energy transition and private capital in the infrastructure sector.

Key responsibilities include advising on mergers & acquisitions, project development, joint ventures, policy & regulation, and complex commercial contracting in the energy and infrastructure sectors. You will work with clients on transactions and projects throughout Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.

Requirements

  1. Experience across M&A, project development, policy and regulation, and complex commercial contracting, ideally within the energy and infrastructure sector.
  2. An excellent academic record, with the ability to apply technical legal knowledge in a commercial environment.
  3. First-class attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to comprehend intricate legal matters and manage large-scale transactions.
  4. A proactive approach and a desire to be an integral member of our leading and supportive team.
  5. A keen interest in the energy and infrastructure sectors, with a hunger to learn, develop, and contribute to a market-leading practice.
