About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Enterprise Systems Strategist to join our corporate head office in South Bank. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, leading and coordinating the day-to-day activities of the Business Systems team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing the Business Systems roadmap
  • Coordinating and project managing external vendors performing technical work
  • Leading and owning the IT Business Systems strategy, planning and performance to deliver business outcomes
  • Working with stakeholders across the organization to identify business system requirements and ensuring that the systems meet those needs
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and system optimization and implementing changes as needed

The ideal candidate will have strong SAP experience, a proven track record of leading complex application projects and managing vendor delivery teams. Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively, are also essential.

A Bachelor degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline is required. Recognised IT professional certifications are desirable, eg ITIL, PRINCE2, Agile, SAP.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline
  • 5+ years' experience in business systems management, preferably in mining or heavy industry
  • Experience with SAP, including S/4HANA Public Cloud, SuccessFactors, SuccessFactors ECP, Concur and S/4 modules such as Asset Management, Supply Chain, Finance and HR
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
  • Recognised IT professional certifications are desirable, eg ITIL, PRINCE2, Agile, SAP
