Role Summary

As a Transport Volunteer, you will play a vital role in supporting older and vulnerable people across Australia. You can improve lives and make a positive impact in your community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate vehicles to transport clients locally and regionally on weekdays.
  • Provide safe, courteous, and respectful transport experience for clients.
  • Assist with mobility aids and help clients board and disembark safely (lifting up to 15 kg).
  • Engage in conversation and activities that are suitable for the client or group.
Essential Skills And Qualifications
  • Join a nationwide team delivering social inclusion programs within aged and community care.
  • Commit to participate in mandatory training and e-learning modules (approximately 1 hour per month).
  • Demonstrate cultural sensitivity by respecting diverse backgrounds and ensuring inclusive interactions free from discrimination.
