Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team at Kaizen Lab Inc. as a Mechanical Equipment Specialist. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our manufacturing equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair mechanical equipment, including conveyor systems, motors, hydraulic units, pneumatic units, and pumps.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Respond to routine breakdowns and repair issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform quality routine machine and plant maintenance to ensure high plant reliability.
- Optimize equipment performance through effective and consistent setting of production machines.
- Deliver maintenance KPIs to ensure visibility of maintenance performance and required improvement.
- Participate in the development and implementation of maintenance plans and procedures.
Requirements:
- Fully licensed Journeyperson with a valid Industrial Mechanic/Millwright trade certificate (433A) or equivalent.
- 3-4 years of industrial experience, preferably in a maintenance role.
- Strong mechanical background with a drive to further develop and learn.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
