About the Job

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Assistant to join our team in the South Metropolitan area of Perth. As a Home Support Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to clients in their own homes.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities such as showering, dressing, grooming, and continence support
  • Assist with medication management, including administering medications and monitoring client's health
  • Support clients with domestic duties, light cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and other household tasks
  • Offer companionship and social support to clients, including driving them to appointments and engaging in activities
  • Follow personalized care plans to ensure each client's needs and preferences are met

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in aged care or community care, preferably with a focus on home support
  • Certificate III in Aged Care (or equivalent) – desirable
  • A current Australian driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • A genuine passion for supporting older adults to live independently in their own homes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and their families
