Role Summary:

We are seeking a Casual Personal Care Assistant to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant retirement living community, where you'll build meaningful connections with residents while enjoying the flexibility of a casual role.

In this role, you will provide personal care and support to residents, respecting their independence and preferences. You will also assist with meal preparation, food service, and domestic duties to maintain a comfortable and welcoming environment.

You will be required to monitor and report on residents' health and wellbeing, ensuring their needs are met. Additionally, you will build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues to foster a sense of community.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide personal care and support to residents, respecting their independence and preferences.
  2. Assist with meal preparation, food service, and domestic duties to maintain a comfortable and welcoming environment.
  3. Monitor and report on residents' health and wellbeing, ensuring their needs are met.
  4. Build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues to foster a sense of community.
What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A current First Aid Certificate.
  • 1-2 years' experience in a similar role, such as personal care, hospitality, or domestic services.
  • Strong customer focus and passion for delivering excellent service.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
