Role Overview

The Human Resources Officer plays a crucial role in the effective management of our people resources. This position is responsible for coordinating people resources to ensure that the rigs and office manning requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating people resources to ensure that the rigs and office manning requirements are met.
  • Assisting with payroll data entry and advice.
  • Providing advice to managers and employees across a broad range of generalist HR matters including employment law, performance management, pay, leave, and benefits.
  • Providing general HR administrative support including records management, and periodic reporting.
  • Assisting in the development, implementation and maintenance of effective HR policies and procedures.
  • Assisting with HR projects.
  • Maintaining confidentiality at all times of Human Resources information.
  • Participating fully in all Health, Safety and Environmental initiatives and safety programs.
  • FOLLOWING GLOBAL EXCELLENCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (G.E.M.S.).
  • Performing other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • A qualification in Human Resources, preferred.
  • Minimum three years Human Resources generalist experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships.
  • Capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • High level professional writing style and good attention to detail.
  • Strong computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
