About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team at Bupaoptical's Berwick care home. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered care to residents, promoting their independence and dignity
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support residents with their medication, meal times, and mobility needs
  • Engage with residents in activities that promote their physical and mental well-being
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Requirements
  • Minimum Certificate 3 qualification in Ageing, Individual Support, Care, or Disability
  • Passion for delivering world-class care and support
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a tight-knit team and delegate effectively
  • Strong understanding of Resident Rights and Aged Care Accreditation Standards
