We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Bupa Croydon. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality person-first care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with the delivery and administration of medication, as per individual care plans.
- Support residents with mobility assistance, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date health care documentation, adhering to regulatory requirements.
- Encourage residents to participate in scheduled social activities, promoting a sense of community and belonging.
- Build strong relationships with residents and their families, providing emotional support and guidance.
- Adhere to workplace health and safety guidelines and policies, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Minimum of a Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification.
- Previous aged care experience is highly regarded, but not essential.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a tight-knit team, taking direction as required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathy and understanding.
- Understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards, and Outcomes.
- Flexible availability for a variety of shifts throughout the week.
