Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Identified Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a Generalist Health Worker, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Identified Role to work across all facilities and provides high quality care and support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients and their families, as well as cultural education and training for SCHHS staff.

**Key Responsibilities include**:
- Work collaboratively under supervision within the multi-disciplinary team to provide quality care, including health awareness, education and health intervention strategies for individuals and the community.
- Support health promotion programs, appropriate referral, advice and information.
- Provide support and advocacy to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients and their families accessing services at the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service.
- Develop and maintain links within the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and with relevant organisations and demonstrate a sound knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and protocols.
