About the Role

Lake Imaging is seeking an experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team in the Geelong Region. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting a variety of scans, including 1st and 2nd trimester pregnancy scans, with a focus on follicle studies, and occasional paediatrics scans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct a variety of scans, including 1st and 2nd trimester pregnancy scans, with a focus on follicle studies, and occasional paediatrics scans.
  • Adhere to enjoyable 30-minute appointment times with ample breaks.
  • Manage your own list of appointments.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and colleagues.
  • Ensure rooms are restocked, cleaned and patients are finalized.

About You
  • Graduate Diploma or Masters of Medical Ultrasound with current registration with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).
  • Ideally 2+ years postgraduate ultrasound experience.
  • An all-rounder with competencies in a variety of ultrasound examinations including breast, general, MSK, obstetrics and vascular.
  • Prepared to participate in a rotating weekend on-call roster between 8am - 5pm.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • A willingness to participate in further education and continued professional development programs.
  • Experience with Siemens and GE ideal.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build effective relationships and communicate with a diverse range of people internally and externally.
