Emergency Medical Call Taker Job Description

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for emergency calls made to Triple Zero (000) in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will receive, record and quickly progress emergency phone calls, provide lifesaving first aid advice and be resilient whilst recording information.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to emergency calls from the public
  • Assess situations and determine appropriate actions
  • Provide first aid advice and support callers
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills, be able to work under pressure and maintain logical thought processes. You should also be tech-savvy enough to use multiple software systems.
