About the Role

You will play a pivotal role in driving Equity and Excellence by leading our First Nations Strategy and Partnership engagement team to support regions develop improved engagement strategies.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, valuing First Nations cultures and voice, both within our organization and across agencies, to ensure authentic First Nations engagement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the management and coordination of the engagement and partnerships team.
  • Develop and implement strategies to strengthen knowledge, business systems and team performance.
  • Prioritise the participation and engagement of all children and students in development and learning pathways.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual who can thrive in a dynamic environment, demonstrate strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, and showcase exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Mandatory Requirements for Identified Roles

It is a genuine occupational requirement that the position be filled by an Aboriginal person or a Torres Strait Islander person. Verification of Aboriginality and/or Torres Strait Island heritage is required.
