Hotel Operations Manager

The role of a Hotel Operations Manager is to oversee the day-to-day activities of a hotel, ensuring that all services are delivered to high standards.

This position requires a strong leader who can manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively.

In this capacity, you will be responsible for supervising the front office team, leading daily operations, and implementing service standards.

You will work closely with senior management to ensure seamless execution of hotel policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead the front office team to achieve exceptional customer service and maintain operational efficiency
  • Implement and maintain service standards to guarantee memorable experiences for guests
  • Monitor and address guest concerns promptly, tracking problem areas to prevent recurrence
  • Communicate daily priorities to employees to personalize service and exceed guest expectations
  • Review daily arrivals to ensure proper handling of VIPs, return guests, and groups
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry is highly valued
  • Knowledge of Rooms Division areas including Front Office, Reservations, Housekeeping, and Guest Services
  • Experience working with Opera or similar systems is beneficial
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead by example
  • RMLV certification and First Aid training, or willingness to obtain
