Capital Projects Manager

This key leadership role involves leading and managing the strategic development, implementation, and review of infrastructure projects to deliver innovative, sustainable, and community-focused outcomes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing the strategic direction to support sustainable outcomes aligned with community aspirations.
  • Providing informed, expert advice that supports integrated decision-making across the organisation.
  • Aligning work with strategic plans, delivering on organisational objectives, and driving business growth.
  • Applying knowledge of the political, social, legal, and organisational context to all initiatives.
  • Offering high-level advice to stakeholders to enhance project design and organisational impact.
  • Building and leveraging relationships to advocate for the community and represent the organisation with key stakeholders.
  • Identifying strategic risks and opportunities that may affect the organisation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and experience in managing capital works design and delivery projects. They will also possess excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to navigate complex political environments.
