Business Development Representative

Generate new business opportunities within the Education and Government sectors, including Higher Education, Government agencies, and Local Government.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities
  2. Work with assigned account executives to develop opportunities and approach targeted segments
  3. Build relationships with key decision-makers (e.g. IT directors, CIOs, procurement officers)
Sector-Specific Activities:
  • Understand and align outreach with fiscal year planning and budget cycles
  • Develop expertise in education GRC technology requirements and government compliance standards
  • Participate in education conferences, government vendor fairs, and sector-specific events
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of B2B sales development or related experience
  • Background in selling to education or government sectors preferred
  • Knowledge of public sector procurement and RFP/RFQ processes
