About the Role
We are seeking a Logistics Operations Manager to oversee the Chiller section of our Brisbane warehouse.
You will be responsible for managing a team of up to 20 staff and ensuring efficient operation of a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage warehouse floor, forklift drivers, and stock on site.
- Coordinate loading, unloading, handling, and consolidation of perishable goods.
- Ensure all timeslot requirements are met.
- Complete paperwork and reporting in a timely manner.
- Lead staff by example and provide hands-on guidance.
- Ensure safe conduct of operations in the workplace.
About You:
- Prior experience in a supervisory role in a similar environment is ideal.
- Inventory management skills are required.
- A valid forklift license is necessary.
- Superior interpersonal skills and ability to manage staff effectively are essential.
- Prior experience with loading and unloading of freight, ideally perishable goods.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills with good attention to detail are required.
- Flexibility, resilience, and ability to work with changing priorities are essential.
- Solid computer skills are necessary.
- Well-developed communication skills are required.
