Job Overview

This is a contract position for an experienced Program Manager to establish and manage an ICT Asset Renewal Technology Upgrade program in partnership with corporate business areas and product managers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of the Asset Renewal Technology Upgrade program, ensuring the delivery of technology upgrades including facilitation of product manager discussions regarding integrated system/software compatibility issues.
  • Manage and deliver all related program and project management activities and products in accordance with PRINCE2 and MSP methodologies to ensure achievement of agreed objectives and outcomes within budget and on time.
  • Consult and negotiate with clients, senior management, suppliers, other public sector agencies, and key stakeholders on the development and implementation of best practice, initiatives, and service delivery standards.
Requirements:
  • Experience within the public sector and large complex government departments.
  • Proven track record of successful program and/or project delivery using PRINCE2, traditional, and hybrid Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders for negotiation, consultation, and decision-making purposes in a complex, bureaucratic environment.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage teams and vendors to deliver required outcomes within agreed timeframes and budget.

A 12-month term will be followed by a possible 12-month extension. Flexible working arrangements are available.
