Senior Structural Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Structural Leader to join our team in Brisbane.

This role will focus on delivering high-profile building projects across the health, education, and residential sectors.

As a client-facing leader, you will have the opportunity to shape project delivery, mentor engineers, and contribute to business growth.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of structural design principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee structural design for complex building projects
  • Manage client relationships and represent the business in meetings and tenders
  • Guide projects from concept through to delivery with a focus on quality and compliance
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering professional development
  • Contribute to resource planning, team leadership, and project strategy
  • Assist in winning work through proposal development and networking
  • Ensure adherence to Australian codes, technical standards, and safety practices

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree-qualified in Structural or Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in buildings (health, education, residential preferred)
  • Chartered (CPEng) and RPEQ (or working towards)
  • Proven experience leading project teams and delivering multi-stage building projects
  • Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Confident in structural design software and up to date with Australian standards
  • A collaborative leader who enjoys mentoring and supporting a high-performance team
