Depot Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Depot Manager to join our team at Lindsay Australia Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and cost-effective management of all operational and administrative activity, budgeted labour, and site maintenance requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and maximise cost-effective options and methods of operation across areas such as fleet utilisation, staff and resource utilisation, and loading and unloading techniques.
- Prepare daily, weekly, or month-end reports to ensure accurate and timely information.
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with current and potential customers.
- Assist in day-to-day operations requirements as needed, ensuring legislative requirements are met to prevent breaches and fines.
- Provide leadership and direction to the depot team, motivating employees and setting individual and team performance goals.
- Conduct performance appraisals to ensure employees are meeting expectations.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and growth.
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- Established experience in a senior leadership role or existing supervisory experience with a desire to move up in your career.
- A highly motivated, genuine, and positive leadership style.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- High-level reasoning, problem-solving, and planning skills.
- Professional presentation with a friendly and helpful manner, able to deal effectively with a diverse workforce.
- Ability to manage your own time, meet deadlines, and take responsibility for your output and the quality of your work.
